From passive furniture to responsive relationships
When we launched Cuba, we were focused on solving problems for shared, adaptable spaces — offices in flux. But as our own lives changed, we realised something deeper: our relationship with furniture, especially the humble office chair, was broken. Despite using it everyday, up to 8hrs a day, we don’t feel anything for it. It’s just there.
We wanted to change that relationship.
With Neata, we set out to build not just a better chair, but a better connection — something you could ride, rely on, enjoy throughout the day, for all your needs. A seat that truly adapts to your space, your mood, your posture, your day.
The result? A new kind of responsive personal workspace seat — one built to support an individual, to inspire. Not just a chair for sitting.
